About Me

Hello!  My name is Jennifer Smith and I'm one of those rare Charleston natives.  I met my the love of my life Daniel during my senior year at West Ashley High School.  After graduation Daniel joined the Air Force and we moved from Charleston to Anchorage Alaska where our twins Matthew and Clara were born.  They were the most precious babies and capturing their little moments and milestones ignited my love for photography.  I started small with a basic camera that our military pay could afford and worked my way towards learning proper composition of subjects and flattering natural light.  Once we moved back home to Charleston in 2008 I began to capture sessions for friends and family where my small business started to flourish.  I take pride in every image that I capture, hand editing in Photoshop.  These family and friends sessions helped me grow towards destination weddings and now a goal of adding drone photography!  I hope to capture some amazing memories for you and your family just like I've done for mine for the past 20 years.
